Download the Cloqa app

The overlay stays out of screen sharing and shows answers only you can see.

macOS: universal build for Apple Silicon and Intel. Requires macOS 11 or newer; system audio capture works best on macOS 13+. About 230 MB.

Windows: from the Microsoft Store, for x64 and ARM64 PCs. Requires Windows 10 or 11 (Windows 7 and 8.1 are not supported). About 200 MB.

Install on macOS

Cloqa is signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens like any other app:

Open the downloaded .dmg and drag Cloqa into Applications.
Launch Cloqa from Applications or Spotlight.
Sign in — your browser opens once and returns you to the app automatically.

Installed an early build (0.1.0) that shows "cannot verify"? Delete it and download again — the current version has no warnings.

Install on Windows

Cloqa is in the Microsoft Store. Microsoft signs the package, so Windows shows no SmartScreen warnings, and the Store keeps the app up to date:

Click "Download for Windows" above — it opens Cloqa in the Microsoft Store — and choose "Get" or "Install".
Launch Cloqa from the Start menu.
Sign in — your browser opens once and returns you to the app automatically.

Can’t use the Microsoft Store?

Download the installer directly. It picks x64 or ARM64 for you and needs no administrator rights, but it is not code-signed yet, so your browser and SmartScreen may warn you about it.

Permissions

On first session Cloqa asks for Microphone access; on macOS it also asks for Screen & System Audio Recording. Both are required to hear the call; nothing is recorded to disk. On Windows system audio is captured automatically without extra permissions.

Updates

The app checks for updates automatically and offers a restart when a new version is downloaded. The Microsoft Store version is updated by the Store.
